Not sure which account type to pick? You can always start with Personal — you can contact support to switch to Business later.
Step 2 — Take the quick tour
After signing up, FridgeFlow walks you through a short 6-step tour that shows you all the main features. It only takes about two minutes.
Welcome to FridgeFlow! 🎉
Step 1 of 6Track what you have
Add food items to your fridge and FridgeFlow will keep track of what's there and when it expires.
You can replay the tour at any time from your Dashboard — just tap "Take the tour" button.
Step 3 — Add your first item
After the tour, it's time to add what's in your fridge. You can add as many items as you like, and each one gets an expiry date so FridgeFlow can remind you when to use it.
Add item
Item name
Quantity
Storage zone
Expiry date
- 1
Tap "Add item" (the + button)
Find the + button at the top right of your Inventory page, or tap the "Add item" button on your Dashboard.
- 2
Enter the item name
Type the name of the food, for example: Milk, Leftover pasta, or Cheddar cheese.
- 3
Set the quantity and unit
Enter how much you have — for example 2 litres or 500 grams.
- 4
Choose a storage zone
Pick where this item lives in your fridge: Freezer, Top shelf, Middle shelf, Bottom shelf, Crisper drawer, or Door.
- 5
Set the expiry date
Check the packaging for the best-before or use-by date. Tap the date field and pick the date from the calendar.
- 6
Tap "Save"
Your item is now in FridgeFlow. It'll appear on your Dashboard and in your Inventory list.
You don't need to fill in every field right away. Even just the name and expiry date is enough to get useful alerts.
Step 4 — Set up your household
A household is your shared space in FridgeFlow — it holds all your inventory, grocery lists, and recipe suggestions. You can share it with family members or housemates so you all see the same fridge.
Name your household
This is the name everyone in your household will see.

- 1
Name your household
Give it something recognisable — like Smith Family or Flat 4B. You can change it later.
- 2
Invite people (optional)
Go to Settings → Household and tap "Invite by email" to add family members or housemates. They'll receive an invite link by email.
If someone has already invited you to their household, look for the invite link in your email and tap "Accept invite" — you don't need to create a new household.
